“Boosting production” is the gift of a knowledge-based economy

“Boosting production” is the gift of a knowledge-based economy

The vice president for science and technology affairs believes that startups and knowledge-based businesses play a considerable role in supplying the needs of the country. Today, boosting production is possible with the help of these businesses.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the meeting of the headquarter for economy of resistance of the province during the one-day travel of science and technology caravan and explained the necessities and processes involved in the move toward knowledge-based economy.

“Private Sector” and an Important Duty

In the first part of his speech, Sattari regarded the signs of a knowledge-based economy in different parts of the province as the starting point of a move toward the knowledge-based economy, expressing: the signs of realization of the ecosystem are tangible. However, the province still deals with several problems. Formation of the research fund with the cooperation of the private sector is required so that the province could be able to support its innovations. We request the private sector to bring its share for the establishment of a fund, which, if created, would provide benefits for the private sector in addition to improving knowledge-based occupations and startups.

On the Importance of “Environment”

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter affirmed: the most important issue is the environment that must be created in the province, especially when there is a domestic potential, including in areas of tourism and specially IT. While proper startups have been established in areas of airflow and medical plants, the cooperation of businesses with the ecosystem of the province is something that strengthens the knowledge-based economy of the province.

To work in this path, companies must emerge from the heart of universities and parks. In general, parks can play a central role.

“Prevention” of a Great Betrayal

Pointing out that the facilities and foundations provided to organizations belong to the people and occupations must be created, and production must be boosted in this regard, Sattari stated: we have attempted to provide facilities and authorities to the ecosystem in the province.

According to Sattari, putting barriers on the path of entrepreneurs and closing businesses are unforgivable betrayals to the country. Maintaining the innovative youth and entrepreneurs in the province and lasting of businesses require a cultural view and approach by society to these businesses.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter expressed that growth in the number of companies, which has led to increased sales rate and a number of occupations, shows that the future of the country depends on this area. In this respect, he mentioned: during the first days, we did not expect these companies, which had considerable revenues, to make a considerable change in the economy and occupation rate of the country. Today, we believe in this path since a bright future could be imagined for the country with the help of the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.

“Support” with All Power

Sattari emphasized his full support of ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship, conveying: implementation of articles of the law for support of knowledge-based companies with more than 130 services and support of creative companies are steps taken toward the same path.

Sattari referred to customs, tax and military exemptions, regarding the legal and judicial follow-up of these companies with the participation of the province is another support line of the scientific and technological deputy of these businesses.

Escort of the Caravan of Public Assistance

The vice president for science and technology affairs escorted the public assistance for those affected by the flood during the travel.

The caravan of public assistance was sent to Lorestan and Khuzestan provinces consisting of 37 trucks of food, hygiene items, clothes and necessary items.

Sattari considered the fact that the province is affected by flood but still sympathizes with other provinces as the sign of great souls of Iranians. The fact that the help provided by a province, which is dealing with shortages itself, to another province is valuable.

Hereby, I would like to thank all sectors that were present during the first days and solved the problems of people.
