Terms of Deployment of Advanced Industry Units and Knowledge-based Activities

According to this directive, the ministry of industry, mine, and trade and the ministry of advanced industry units and knowledge-based activities (in some cases) must act on issuing exploitation license for establishment of advanced industry units in some city areas. In this context, knowledge-based companies and institutions that carry out research, development, and engineering design activities and produce knowledge-based products at laboratory level and by orders (before mass production) can be based in allowed city areas, including restricted cities. The ministry of industry, mine, and trade is allowed to issue permission for establishment and exploitation license for these units according to the relevant laws and regulations. To benefit from these facilities, knowledge-based companies, and advanced industry units will be determined by the relevant working group based on Article 3 of the executive code for support of knowledge-based companies and commercialization of innovations and inventions expressed in the act of h46513t/141602 established on November 11th, 2012. According to Article 6 of this directive, the advanced technology units and knowledge-based companies, the areas of activity of which have not been expressed in the list of ratings attached to this decree and decision-making about issuance of exploitation license for advanced industry units, which have been established before the date of the directive and have an establishment license and are under construction, will be determined in the committee of Article 7 of the executive code (h39127t/78946) created on July 6th, 2011 in the presence of the representative of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and based on needs of other organizations.
