The latest global innovation index (GII) report has shown Iran’s moving forward in the path of science production. The number of scientific publications, higher education, intellectual properties and industrial production of Iran show the improvements of Iran and necessities to realize the production leap and realization of economy of resistance.

Today, advancement and hope are only in the hands of our young elites. A hope that ends our economic weaknesses and sends a clear message for finishing cruel sanctions against our people and the Islamic republic of Iran. This end is only realized by the wide expansion of knowledge-based companies across the country.

Vice President of Science and Technology and the Chairman of the Tehran City Council visited the innovation centers of Tehran.

The representative of the federal agency for support and evaluation of graduate education in the federal republic of Brazil (CAPES) pointed out signing a memorandum of understanding between the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter with the Vice-Presidency during his meeting with the new ambassador of Iran in Brazil, asking for the development of joint research cooperation between the two countries in the field of cognitive sciences.

A one-day visit of innovation and technological circles of Tehran was made by the vice president for science and technology affairs and Mohsen Hashemi, chairman of City Council of Tehran.

The 18th annual summit and festival of the bests of Pardis Technology Park of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs was held in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, Vice President of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, center for progress and development of Iran, and the governor of Pardis.

The memorandum of understanding to establish the first "iTech" innovation center in the agriculture field was signed between the vice president for science and technology affairs and the ministry of agriculture. The MoU was signed by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Kazem Khavazi, the minister of agriculture.

The 18th annual summit and festival of top companies of Pardis Technology Park was held in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, the vice speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the center for progress and development of Iran, and the governor of Pardis. In addition to awarding the top knowledge-based companies, four commercialized knowledge-based products were unveiled by the technologists based in Pardis Technology Park during the ceremony.

Once again, the scientific and technological abilities of Iran are shown; this time, in the field of innovation. The 2020 Global Innovation Index (Gii) has had good news about Iran. Tehran was ranked ninth in terms of science and technology among moderate-income countries.
