A project in wind turbine area was performed by the researchers of Iran with the support of energy technologies development headquarter, which have led to the production of a technological product.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, “design and creation of raw materials needed for blades of wind turbines” is one of the technological projects initiated by the support of the renewable energies development headquarter and continued after the integration of this headquarter and formation of the new headquarter of energy technologies development. The pre-production process (raw material for manufacturing blades of wind turbines) has entered the industrial section and its production line has been established by Iranian researchers.

In this regard, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter visited this production line. In this visit, Iraj Amiri, executive manager of the project, described the achievements of the project. Moreover, challenges of this area were presented to be solved.

In addition, Vatankhah talked about the supportive capacities of the Vice-Presidency of technology development and commercialization projects, determining the future paths to further improve these supports. At the end, it was decided to take positive steps toward the development of market for this technological product with the cooperation of this organization and advanced energy technologies development headquarter.

Development of technology and pre-impregnated industrial production of wind turbines is the name of a project, which is performed with the support of energy technologies development headquarter, so that export of products, such as blade and helicopter, could be avoided by localization of production of this material inside the country.
