According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Royan International Congress is held to provide a proper foundation for sharing the latest scientific achievements and improve cooperation and information and experience exchange among researchers and scholars of these fields, hosting many top domestic and foreign participants and scientists.

This congress will be held to improve the education and research infrastructures of the country by more interacting with different international and national associations in the areas of medicine, biology and stem cell technologies.

Another goal of this event is introducing biology and technology of stem cells to the scientific society as a proper tool in scientific research, especially in stem cell studies, such as organ transplant, skin, joint, nerve, and eye diseases, cancers and renal and cardiovascular diseases.

Other objectives of the event include the strengthening of the perspective of international societies toward the scientific abilities of Iran due to economic and political sanctions, providing the ability to attract more patients from regional countries to treat infertility and perform cell therapy, helping the flourishing of treatment tourism in the country, creating an appropriate environment for exchange of scientific information and coordination to implement new multinational and multicenter research, and achieving cultural goals of the Islamic republic of Iran by introducing the enriched Islamic culture and abilities.

In line with this international congress, the international festival of Royan will be held August 30^th 2018, in which the best national and international projects will be awarded.

The 19^th international congress of infertility and reproduction and the 14^th international stem cell congress of Royan research center will be held August 29^th-31^st, 2018 with the spiritual support of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter. Enthusiasts of this field can send their articles to the congress until April 20^th 2018.
