The 13^th International Addiction Science Congress will be held by the valuable cooperation of all experts and activists in the relevant fields at the national and international levels.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Afarin Rahimi Movaghar, the scientific secretary of the 13^th International Addiction Science Congress, expressed: prevention of addiction, treatment, rehabilitation and nursing of addiction, biology, genetics and pharmacology of addiction, education in addiction, epidemiology, diagnostic evaluations, toxicology and drug chemistry are among the main topics of this international congress, which will be evaluated by prominent domestic and international experts and professors. In addition, psychology and psychiatry of addiction, harm reduction, addiction biology and neuroscience, as well as behavioral addiction are other issues and topics of this international event.

Rahimi continued: this scientific gathering has a re-test privilege for physicians and experts of various fields, including internal diseases, psychology, psychiatry, and neurology, and participation of domestic and foreign lecturers in various areas is among the features of this scientific event.

She also asserted: this event will be held with the participation of all the experts and activists of related areas at the national and international levels, and during these three days, the lectures, specialized panels, workshops with presentations of articles and other scientific productions in fields and subjects in various basic sciences, clinical, human, social, and legal issues will be observed.

According to the scientific secretary of the 13^th International Addiction Science Congress, the congress is a great opportunity for sharing experiences and opinions on all topics related to addiction by professors, experts, thinkers, researchers and beneficiaries of the field at the national and international level.

It is worth noting that the event will be held by the molecular and cellular research center of Iran University of Medical Sciences and the national center of addiction studies of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and with the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, as well as a number of other scientific and research centers. The event will be held during August 21^st-24^th, 2019 at Razi International Conference Center of Tehran.
