According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, visited the production lines of the Science-Based Mazi Noor Company, a producer of all kinds of lighting essentials, and had a conversation with the company's activists.

As the first manufacturer of explosion-proof lights in Iran, this company has succeeded in providing the ground for the entry of Iran-made products into international markets in accordance with international standards while producing and supplying domestic needs.

While learning about the production process in visiting the company's factory, Dehghani visited the assembly halls of research and development departments, research laboratory, technical and engineering department, design, paint, casting and plating center of this factory.

On the sidelines of the visit to this company, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, referring to the domestic capability in designing and manufacturing advanced and competitive products in international markets, said: the capability of domestic knowledge-based companies in designing and manufacturing high-quality and competitive products is such that they have the capacity to be present in international markets.

Pointing to the expertise of the country's human resources in the manufacture of lighting products, he added: the expertise of the capable human resources, along with the determination and will of the domestic artisans, has provided a basis for the possibility of designing and manufacturing all kinds of lighting products in the country.

Dehghani pointed out the various facilities of the Vice Presidency of Science to support Technologist and Prominent companies to produce competitive products in the international markets and said: The Vice Presidency of Science relies on support tools, including the Knowledge-based Production Leap Law, to support Technologist and Prominent companies for the development of the knowledge-based economy.

Referring to the support of the Vice Presidency of Science to start-up, innovative and technological companies to maintain and improve human resources and attract new human resources, he said: support in providing capital, upgrading the infrastructure of industrial design, research and development, and helping the export market of company’s flourish. Knowledge-based is one of the other supports of the Vice Presidency of Science under the knowledge-based production leap law.

Emphasizing the importance of promoting design and innovation and knowledge-based companies, Dehghani added: Knowledge-based technology companies have three important features, which are helping to create new companies based on research and development, creating specialized employment and market size.

Mazi Noor Industries factory is active in the fields of molding, plastic injection, casting and design in an infrastructure of six hectares and an infrastructure of about 12,000 square meters.

The activity of this knowledge-based company has provided the basis for direct employment of 800 people.
