With the cooperation of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter, the Art Jihad-e Daneshgahi published the call for the fifth festival of technology and industrial film & photography.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this festival will be held at the national level, aiming at introducing activities, abilities and achievements of the country in various scientific, technological, innovative and industrial sections. The slogan of the event is “support of national production”.

According to this report, the festival will be held in two competition and side sections.

The competition section encompasses two free and student groups, and all works must be within the framework of topics of the festival and in the form of documentaries, animations, motiongraphy, promotional films, TV documents and images.

The free group included documentaries, animations and motiongraphy, promotional films (announce, teaser, and music videos), TV documentaries on industry and technology, special topic sections, industrial images (single and set of images) and promotional images (single and set of images).

In the student group, applicants can compete with each other in addition to the mentioned topics. In this regard, explanations of the competition are notified in the regulations section of the call. Awards of each festival section will be granted to winners. In addition, the symbol of the festival will be granted to the best film with the topic of support of national production.

In addition, the side section of the festival includes two special and international sections.

The secretary of the festival has provided programs for participants of the festival and cinema enthusiasts during the year and implementation of the festival. A number of these programs, including visit of industrial and technological centers by artists and documentary producers, are being carried out, and some other programs will be further notified.

Registration for the event has been initiated since April 9^th, 2019 and will be ended on July 21^st, 2019. In addition, the works entered into the competition section will be announced on September 6^th, 2019.

The 5^th festival of technology and industrial film & photography (FARDA) will be held October 7^th-9^th, 2019 by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter.
