According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a joint meeting was held between Sirous Vatankhah Moghadam, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, and Ali Bakhshi, chairman at Iran electrical industry syndicate. One of the achievements of this meeting was signing a joint cooperation agreement, according to which two joint projects will be performed with the topic of policy-making in electrical industry and strengthening the role of knowledge-based companies in export development. Signing of this agreement is the starting point for development of this type of cooperation. In addition, this cooperation agreement is signed in line with the development of sharing knowledge and cooperate for development of the technologies and innovations required for the energy and electrical industry.

Development of Cooperation between Syndicate and Headquarter

In this meeting, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter stated: with regard to the current potential in the electrical syndicate of Iran, its impact on the industry and role in the improvement of industry are realized. Vatankhah pointed out the missions of the headquarter, as well as the capacities and tools of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs for creation of infrastructures for developing cooperation, adding: with regard to the chain of science, technology and innovation, which includes a wide range of areas, effective cooperation infrastructures could be defined between syndicate and energy headquarter.

A Start for Coherence of Cooperation between the Public and Private Sections

According to this report, electrical industry syndicate of Iran is a trade union consisting of more than 500 equipment manufacturer, contractor, and electrical industry consultant. This unit follows up the increased effectiveness of investments done in the electrical industry through organizing the private section and deepening the cooperation and forming social asset among the family of electrical industry in Iran. Furthermore, as the top export organization of Iran in 2011, this organization has many objectives, including the development of the market for member companies, sustainable research and creation of databank in the relevant areas, provision of counseling and legal services, prevention of unhealthy competition, development of cooperation with public and private organizations, determining regulations and standards, improvement of technical knowledge, expansion of notification capacities and completing its organizational structure.

Signifying of this agreement is a solution for coherent deepening the cooperation between the private and public sections.
