According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Soorena Sattari- the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs stated at the ceremony of signing the memorandum of developing the market of active knowledge-based companies in the field of health with ministry of health and medical education: Based on the government’s approval, a new 10 thousand billion Tomans market will be created which regarding the capacity of knowledge-based companies in medical field, we hope that a substantial percentage of market making activities assigned to active knowledge-based companies in the field of health.
He added: Today, each Rial of biotechnological medicine earns currency as same as 200 barrel of oil. Regarding the importance of this field, we should pay a more special attention to this field.
According to Sattari, in current situations, sell of knowledge-based companies is about 2000 billion Tomans but this memorandum is in the vein of cooperation of two organizations in running the government’s program to create new markets which are for commercialization of new technologies and entrance of new products to the health market.
Presidency vice president for science and technology affairs stated: Among the knowledge-based companies, activity of knowledge-based companies in the field of medicine is smoother and more developmentalized and in the field of producing medicine in domestic market, we have managed to rely on ourselves. However, there are some problems in export which should be eliminated.
According to head of the National Elites Foundation, ministry of health is one of the serious bases of distribution of knowledge-based companies in the country and especially many knowledge-based equipment and medicines have been produced in the country and we have a considerable mutation in this field.
He said: Despite progress we made in the field of producing knowledge-based products, we are infant in the field of export and we should take more share of foreign markets by respecting international standards of producing medicine.
