The support by the Supreme Leader and the president led to the substantial growth of knowledge-based companies
The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the growth of knowledge-based companies in the past five years, stating: these improvements have been made based on the statements of the Supreme Leader in this field and with the support of the government and president.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed in an interview with journalists: this trip was another opportunity to be with people of Boushehr, the city of my childhood memories.
Sattari continued: Boushehr is one of the important cities for flourishing the ecosystem of innovation and technology due to the important infrastructures in the region in the fields of oil, gas, fishery and medical plants. However, the high capacity of the city in terms of graduated human resources increases our responsibility.
The Private Sector Supports the Science and Technology Park
Sattari also affirmed: great steps have been taken in the field of knowledge-based economy in the province, which need acceleration.
The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned: great moves have been made in the province in the field of knowledge-based economy. However, these moves must be accelerated. In this regard, the science and technology park of the province provides proper services with new facilities. However, this infrastructure is government-based and the private sector must come to the field and invest in these fields.
Inauguration of 802-billion-toman Project on This Trip of Sattari to Boushehr
Sattari mentioned that the 802-billion-toman project will be exploited, stating: today, new projects are inaugurated in addition to opening of some projects. In addition, formation of infrastructures is followed to flourish the innovation and technology ecosystem in Boushehr Province.
The president of the national elites foundation continued: government money is not the building of a knowledge-based economy, but the development of it requires the creation of public-private partnerships. Currently, 4500 knowledge-based companies are active in the country, the sales rate of which was 90 thousand billion tomans in last year. This year, in the first five months, we also saw good growth in sales of knowledge-based companies, and sanctions in particular boosted the activities of these companies. In the first five months of the year, we also saw good numbers (150) of people returning to the country.
In terms of approach of government to support knowledge-based companies, Sattari claimed: the law to support knowledge-based companies has been completely implemented, according to which services are provided to 140 types of services and we have witnessed a considerable growth in the number of these companies in the past five years. These advancements would not be made without the support of the Supreme Leader, the government and the president. All of these, along with the cooperation of government officials and governorates, have to shift of economy to investment on human resources. To be dynamic, our economy must be changed from selling raw materials to focusing on innovative human resources.
