The first phase of comprehensive center for stem cells and regenerative medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences was opened in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs. Meanwhile, other projects in various provinces, such as Isfahan, Bushehr and Shahrekord were unveiled in his presence since the beginning of the Fajr Decade to witness a boom in the technology and innovation ecosystem and an increase in the number of support provided in the field.

Sattari explained that the government has focused on the commercialization of stem cells in collaboration with the ministry of health and food and drug organization, affirming: the number of products approved by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education has also increased, and the number of knowledge-based companies in the area has increased to 100, which is a good number, not every country has such a large number of companies and products.

Localization and production of these materials have a huge impact on the advancement of various sciences and industries of the country.
Unveiling a Service for Rare Genetic Diseases
In addition, “Xeomin” was unveiled as a solution for rare genetic diseases. This service will discover the genetic cause of the disease causing mutation by using artificial intelligence and analyzing the statistical results.
