Creative House and Global Innovation Center for Art Opens to Introduce International Capabilities
The Memorandum of Understanding for the Establishment of the Creative House and Global Innovation Center was signed between the Soft and Identity Technologies Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and the University of Arts.
The Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Creative House and Global Innovation Center was signed by Parviz Karami, Secretary of the Culture and Knowledge-Based Economy and Development of Soft and Creative Industries Headquarters, Ismail Ghaderifar, Head of the Strategic Technologies Development Center, and Seyed Hassan Soltani, President of the University of Arts.
The purpose of concluding this memorandum is to launch a creative house and global innovation of art, attract and support knowledge-based companies, creative companies, and startups active in the field of cultural industries and soft technologies to establish a role in this creative house and have material and spiritual support. To play in creating employment and added value while introducing the artistic and cultural capacities of the country in the international dimension.
The Creative House and Global Innovation Center in the Mashq square and the former Kazakhkhaneh building, with dimensions of 7,000 square meters, is one of the well-known and old buildings in Tehran, which is now owned by the University of Arts and will be a place for establishing and developing innovative ideas in soft and cultural industries.
In line with this memorandum of understanding, the establishment and management of the Creative House and Global Innovation Center will also be accelerated. The Headquarters Supports specialized companies in this field and companies based in the Center for Innovation and Acceleration.
Supporting the holding of events related to the field of creative and cultural industries and creating a platform for communication between creative houses, companies, and various organizations to receive the required information and services are other measures of the headquarters to develop the creative and cultural industry innovation ecosystem.
Also, the University of Arts, while providing the location of the Innovation and Acceleration Center of the Creative House and Global Innovation Center in the field of creative, soft, and cultural industries, provides technical training related to empowering teams based in the Innovation Center and Creative Houses. The university also supports the teams based in the Innovation and Acceleration Center to provide the technologies they need, while networking and connecting teams based in the Innovation and Acceleration Center to areas and potential customers in the cultural and creative industries.
To implement the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding, three-member committees with the presence of representatives of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and the University of Arts, planning and managing the funds allocated by the parties, review and select accelerators from among the startups proposed Is in charge.
The memorandum was signed after Vice President for Science and Technology, Sorena Sattari, visited the University of Arts and the Kazakhkhaneh House.
