More than 970 Post-doctoral Projects Will Be Supported
The Iran National Science Foundation has supported 970 post-doctoral projects in order to accelerate the empowering of PhD graduates before recruitment.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, after a PhD, a postgraduate course is passed where talented researchers make special plans for research and technology development under the supervision of prominent professors. The important point is to properly guide the PhD graduates before recruitment. In this regard, the Iran National Science Foundation support post-doctoral projects to empower these individuals.
The support provided by the foundation includes all scientific areas. This year, the support of post-doctoral researchers increased from 36 million Tomans in previous years to 57 million Tomans. To date, the foundation has approved the support of more than 970 projects from 2200 post-doctoral projects.
Post-doctoral projects are supported in two ways; the researchers are supported by either direct sending of their project to the related working group or based on the agreement of the foundation with other scientific centers.
In any case, support for post-doctoral courses extends the infrastructure for training human resources to introduce effective human resources to society.
