According to the communication and information center in the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, this morning, with the aim of meeting the technological and innovative needs of industry owners and toy manufacturers and presenting the capabilities of knowledge-based companies, a national event was held for the development and exchange of technology in the toy industry, a place for interaction and the exchange of needs and capabilities of industry activists and knowledge-based and creative companies related to this field.

The purpose of holding the event is to establish a relationship between the knowledge-based and creative ecosystem and toy industry manufacturers with two approaches of market building for knowledge-based companies and designing and producing quality toys using Iranian materials and equipment.

Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, referring to Iran's capacity to gain a share of one billion dollars in the global toy industry market, said: the volume of the global toy market is currently more than 100 billion dollars, and Iran's share of the financial turnover of this market is about 300 million dollars - equivalent to one-thirteenth percent - of which one third, equivalent to 100 million dollars, includes the products of domestic companies.

Referring to Iran's capacity to obtain a 1% share equal to 1 billion dollars in the turnover of the global toy market, he said: Considering our country's 1% share of the world's population and the possession of intelligent, young and educated manpower, it is not far from the mind, that we can take one percent of the global toy market.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy stated: The share of turnover in the toy industry can reach 1 billion dollars, which means a 10-fold growth, due to domestic production.

Referring to the capacity of creating added value and creating employment in Iran's toy industry, Dehghani reminded: this capacity exists in the country along with culture, art, originality and thought and can lead to the creation of creativity in the field of toys.
