Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, started his first provincial trip in the year of “production leap” from the southern part of the country and entered Fars Province this morning to assess and observe the operations performed to develop the innovation and technology ecosystem in the province.

The one-day trip of Sattari to Fars Province includes different programs focusing on the move of the province toward the knowledge-based economy.

Entering Shiraz, Sattari was welcomed by the governor and some of the authorities of Fars. The innovation and technology Pardis (technology valley) of Fars will be opened in the presence of Sattari during the trip. This center will accelerate the pace of establishment and flourishing of startup and knowledge-based businesses. Innovation centers, accelerators, knowledge-based companies are based in the technology valley to facilitate the flow of ideas to technology products and market entry.

Visiting knowledge-based companies and technological units is another part of the trip in order to assess the development problems of companies. In this regard, Sattari will visit knowledge-based companies located in Shiraz Industrial Town. Fanavaran Shayan Tarh, Sina Control Shiraz and Dade Gostaran Dena are some of the technological companies that will present knowledge-based products to Sattari.

Moreover, Sattari ewill visit the innovation factory of Shiraz and will learn about the technological activities of the center as one of the players of the innovation and technology ecosystem. The factory is a place for development of the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem and young people are joining investors to shape a bright future for Fars province.

The expansion of technology and innovation ecosystem actors such as this innovation factory or knowledge-based companies, accelerators, innovation centers and startups all pave the way for a move towards a knowledge-based economy.

Meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader and Friday Imam of the province and attending the meeting of economy of resistance and production leap are other parts of the trip.
