The innovation and technology ecosystem has developed in various fields every day. The players of the field have continued their activities with all efforts. The creative and soft industries are one of the players in the ecosystem. At the beginning of the path, the number of qualified creative companies was less than the fingers of a hand. Today, however, there are more than 1100 creative companies assessed and recorded with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

During the ceremony to sign a contract for developing Khatam University in Pardis Innovation Zone in the presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs, the foundation was laid for development of the innovation ecosystem, technological research and startup development in Pardis Innovation Zone.

Knowledge-based companies and soft and creative industries are among new organizations, the presence of which promises more active, more efficient and updated economy in the country. In addition, they are capable of being recognized as the most important pillars in economic development of the country.

With the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology, and Kazem Khavazi, Minister of Jihad for Agriculture, a meeting of food and agriculture startups was held so that technology activists could speak directly about their capabilities and achievements and facilitate the activities of the businesses.

The head of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran, during his visit to Kavosh research town, announced the preparation of the necessary infrastructure for the establishment of selected knowledge-based companies in the leading phase of this research town in the form of 14 completed independent units.

During visiting the final stage of establishing Iran national observatory, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs stated: constructing Iran national observatory is the largest project in the field of basic sciences, which has reached the exploitation stage. Building and equipment activities at the summit are over. Early next year, the installation and lighting will begin, and in June, this huge project will be officially inaugurated.

Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed in the presence of a group of journalists in Kashan: government support of knowledge-based companies and soft and creative industries will increase with new government and parliamentary approvals.

Pointing out the establishment of a creative home in Kashan during a meeting with the journalists of the province, Sattari stated: the Vice-Presidency’s focus in Kashan is on supporting its cultural and creative industries and producing machines and equipment for carpets in Iran. Equipment that is imported at high costs.

The innovation ecosystem will be expanded with approving the allocation of national lands on the southern part of Pardis Technology park. The vice president for science and technology affairs announced the paving of the way for the realization of innovative cities with the development of Pardis Innovation Zone, stating: there are 1000 hectares of lands on the southern part of Pardis Technology Park, 400 hectares of which will be allocated to Pardis Innovation Zone with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and cooperation of Tehran Governorate.
