This morning, Hosseinali Amiri, the vice president of parliament, visited various parts of the Azadi Innovation Factory. During the event, he considered a good development pace for knowledge-based companies, stating: these tech companies donate community welfare and time and cost savings with their work. A considerable number of graduated youth are working in Azadi Innovation Factory with enthusiasm to make improvements in the country.
Amiri continued: the government, the Islamic consultative assembly, and judicial system of Iran must legally support knowledge-based companies. There are some legal gaps in some of the areas of activity of these companies that need to be eliminated. On the other hand, some laws do not fit their needs due to the high speed of their activities.
Amiri also affirmed: with the support of the Vice-Presidency, we will recognize the legal problems of these companies in order to act on the establishment of new approval or bills in areas related to the government.
According to Amiri, establishment of the Azadi Innovation Factory is a valuable measure taken to develop and promote production, job formation and improvement of welfare of the public.
According to the report, the Azadi Innovation Factory has been established to promote the culture of entrepreneurship, knowledge-based economy and investment in the innovation field. Before becoming a factory, this was a worn-out place in Tehran, which was renovated and turned into a place for innovation ecosystem with the cooperation of the private sector.
Azadi innovation factory has 10 warehouses and a central center with the title of U building. In these warehouses, startups are active in fields of tourism, architecture & urban life, nano drugs, artificial intelligence (IoT), biotech, insurance & financial innovation, content production & electronic health. Startup teams are taking advantage of these accelerators and innovation centers to grow.
