“The Sticker of the Year Award” is the title of an event held by the social network of iGap and with the support of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter to accelerate the pace of producing Iranian-domestic stickers.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the sticker issue is important given the country"s mobile penetration rate and the use of messengers. Therefore, the production of native and available stickers should be considered. The production of stickers that evoke an Iranian sense of locality was highlighted at the "Sticker of the Year Award".

Therefore, after the release of the event by iGap, artists submitted their designs in five modes of laughter, crying, love, anger and heart (like), and the evaluation of the works will be initiated in the next stage. The goal of iGap is producing Iranian-domestic stickers to be used in the cyberspace through holding the event.

In addition, holding the event by iGap is a measure for culture-building in the field to use the abilities of domestic artists in producing domestic stickers.

The exhibition of the works presented for the Sticker of the Year Award will be held January 18^th, 2020 and will end on January 20^th, 2020.
