According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fifth wind energy conference of Iran will be held October 10^th-11^th, 2017 at the conference hall of ministry of energy by the wind energy scientific association and with support of energy technology development headquarter.

In this round of the competition, a different approach is taken toward the evaluation of wind industry of Iran in the new international environment. In addition, this event has been able to obtain considerable success in evaluation of progress of countries with the same condition as Iran in the area of wind energy, assessing new solution for fast improvement of this industry in Iran and discussing the challenges of this area.

Holding specialized meetings in the presence of domestic and international experts and scientific lectures are some of the programs of this event. Moreover, a specialized exhibition of wind energy will be held to present scientific and industrial achievements in the area of development of wind power plants in Iran. In addition, it is aimed to interact with international companies to exchange information and technical knowledge, introduce new products and services to customers, and penetrate the competitive market of this area. Holding educational workshops is another part of this conference.
