According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Nader Qoli Ibrahimi, secretary of the environment, soil, and water technologies development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs stated at the inauguration ceremony of the second national festival on water technologies that considering knowledge-based companies’ and start-ups’ problems is on the agenda and said: Using presence of knowledge-based companies and applying new techniques in the field of water and drought, we can create wealth and remove environmental problems in the country.

Mentioning the role of idea-producers, start-ups and knowledge-based companies in holding this session of the exhibition, he said: Presence of modern ideas and demonstration of mental, scientific and technological growth in the field of water and drought have been definitely effective in holding this event.

Ibrahimi said: The created opportunity is not dependent on holding festival and idea-owners and activists of research centers can provide their ideas in the field of water and drought.

He announced in other part of his speech: There are 107 knowledge-based companies in the field of water from which 50 companies announced readiness for attending the festival.

Secretary of the water and drought technologies development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs talked about assigning pavilion to knowledge-based companies and said: Some spaces are allocated to knowledge-based companies to present their technologies to the scientific and technological section in this festival.

Ibrahimi said: Most activities are dominant at the water and drought technologies development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs so that we can extend dominant activities through presence of academic people and knowledge-based companies in the form of start-ups.

According to this report, the second national festival on environment, soil, and water technologies is being held on December 3^rd-5^th at the Agricultural Education and Research Organization.
