According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Taghi Joghataei, head of the neuroscience association of Iran, stated: this scientific congress will be held for three days from December 20th 2017 at Razi international conference center of Tehran with the support of the cognitive science and technologies development headquarter and by the cellular and molecular research center of Iran University of Medical Sciences, neuroscience association of Iran and with the cooperation of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran psychiatric institute, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, national brain mapping laboratory and some other research centers.
He continued: this congress will be inaugurated in the presence of 1000 individuals, including experts, professors and researchers in the area of neurosciences, and will be attended by give prominent international researchers. The scientific results and achievements of this congress can be used for neurology experts, brain surgeons, psychologists, neuroscience experts, anatomy physiology, neuroradiology, radiology, immunology, psychiatrists and specialists in the areas related to engineering fields, including electronics, mechanics, medical engineering and physics.
Head of the sixth basic and clinical neuroscience congress also affirmed: during this congress, high school and university student and assistant meetings will also be held by creative high school students in the neuroscience area, medicine students and neurology and psychiatry assistants, respectively.
According to Joghataei, the sections of video and image festival and appreciation of the top articles and final theses in the neuroscience area is added to the congress for the second time this year. In addition, the neuroscience association of Iran has aimed to reward the work of some young researchers in this field (below 35 years) with the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.
The sixth international basic and clinical neuroscience congress will be held December 20th-22nd, 2017 at the Razi international congress center with the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.
