The vice president for science and technology affairs visited TIA innovation agency along with the programs of his third day of travel to South Africa.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited TIA innovation agency in Pretoria along with the programs of his third day of travel to South Africa.

This agency provides fellowships to researchers and innovators to be active in various technology and innovation fields. This visit was carried out to be familiarized with the current capacities in Africa in the science and technology field to develop bilateral cooperation between Iran and South Africa.

In this visit, in addition to the presenting of a report on the activities of the agency, the achievements of innovation centers of Iran were introduced. In addition, Iranian knowledge-based companies met with their counterparts in South Africa at the chamber of commerce of this country in Johannesburg.

According to this report, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs traveled to two cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg, South Africa, as the head of a technological and business delegation consisting of 46 managers of financial organizations and active knowledge-based companies in the field of information and communication technology, health and biotechnology, mine and relevant industries, industrial equipment and machinery, electricity and electronics.
