The vice president for science and technology affairs regarded the toy industry as a creative industry and one of the powerful components of the country by reviving the circle of idea to production and commercialization, investment of the private sector, and production of products based on the desire and public culture of the society toward occupation creation, cultural promotion, improvement of education level, and formation of added value.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, regarded the toy industry as a powerful component of the country on the opening of the fourth national festival and exhibition of toys of Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, expressing: with our rich and old background in cultural history and soft industries, such as toys and handicrafts, we must rely on our domestic culture and innovation to pave the way for commercialization of toy industry.

The president of soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter pointed out the developments made in the toy industry over the past few years, regarding this field as one of the important industries in area of creative learning, occupation formation and flourishing of economy based on soft and cultural industries, adding: the toy industry has been transformed in the recent years, and various toys have been replaced by computers and tablets.

He also asserted: by entrance of the private sector into the field of toy industry, production will be developed based on the demand and interest of the public.

The president of the policy-making council of Iranian national festival emphasized the necessity of commercialization of innovations and cultural savings, expressing: a part of achievements of handicraft industries that were formerly the largest achievements of the Iranian culture have been neglected due to their reliance on oil-economy. However, today and with the revival of the chain of ideas, innovation, and commercialization of capital in this field, creation of added value and occupation occur along with the cultural development of this field through Iranian products.

Sattari pointed out the infrastructural support of soft and cultural industries by the Vice-Presidency, expressing: a special support mechanism has been developed in the Vice-Presidency, in a way that creative companies that meet the criteria for becoming a knowledge-based company can be supported in the form of creative business development programs.

The fourth national festival and exhibition of toys of Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults is established in 86 booths with more than 1300 Iranian products and is supported by soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter. The event will be ended on November 21^st 2018.
