Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: the third 10-year space program will be initiated in 2027 and will be executed until 2036 and its topic is general pervasive basic services.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, head of the national space administration, pointed out the 10-year space program in Iran, asserting: since 2006, compilation of the first space program was started with an emphasis on empowering and presence in space and in the path of development of space technologies in Iran, which continued to 2015.

He added: the second space program will be carried out during 2016-2026, which is for localization of abilities and providing basic and general services.

According to Manteghi, the third 10-year space program will be started in 2027, and we hope that general sustaining services of space, which will have extended use in the country, be developed during this time.
