According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Peyman Keyhanvar, secretary of “StemUp”, which will be simultaneously held with the third national festival and international congress on stem cells and regenerative medicine, stated: today, the process of entrepreneurship and commercialization has entered a new phase on the global scale. In this regard, a new concept called value creation has been created, where in addition to the processes related to occupation and increased opportunity of job creation, an idea is guided toward the creation of added value (which can be different based on the idea and the team) so that the sprititual load of the issue can be elevated.

According to Keyhanvar, this value creation has been detected in the country as well. However, many of the measures have been taken in the area of information technology. However, this value creation occurs in various areas in the world, especially in specialized areas. Secretary of the third “StemUp” event affirmed: in this regard, the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter has created a special startup event for processes of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

He continued: given the fact that there is a variety of entrepreneurship events, this specialized event on stem cells and regenerative medicine is called “StemUp”, which happened for the first time in the world.

According to Keyhanvar, “StemUp” is a localized event that is in line with the Iranian culture. One of the features of the second round of the event was participation of school students for the first time from 23 different cities of the country. Secretary of the “StemUp” event declared: we have aimed to hold the third round of the event as an idea board and an entrepreneurial event so that we could move toward specific challenges or problem solving.

It is worth noting that the third round of the national festival and international congress on stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held November 24^th-December 1^st, 2018 by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter. However, the startup event will host the audiences during November 25^th-27^th, 2018.
