The third symposium on stem cells and cell therapies in lung diseases will be held with the cooperation of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third symposium on stem cells and cell therapies in lung diseases will be held with the cooperation of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, universities of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, pediatric medical center and research center of bio-medicine research of University of Tehran.

The symposium will be held July 26^th 2018 in pediatric healthcare center and has the ability of being re-trained. In addition, students articles will be accepted.

The main topics of the event include stem cell transplantation in lung fibrosis, stem cell transplantation in inflammatory diseases of the lung, application of stem cells in pediatric lung disease, and application of stem cells in cystic fibrosis.

Other goals of the symposium include the challenges of using stem cells in pulmonary diseases, necessary care after transplantation of stem cells in pulmonary diseases, place of use of stem cells in children resistant lung infections, and ethics in stem cell transplantation.
