Student committee of Iranian society of neurology will hold the third cognitive neuroscience summer school September 10^th-15^th, 2017 with the support of the headquarters for development of cognitive science and technologies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this summer school will be held to familiarize students with modern cognitive technologies and strengthen their teamwork and interdisciplinary thinking while emphasizing the implementation of scientific projects. Classes of this school are specially designed for BSc, MSc and PhD students of medical sciences, basic sciences, psychology and engineering. However, the classes have a limited capacity.

Moreover, this school, which will be held for one week, will contain specialized classes to cover various subjects of cognitive neuroscience, including anatomy of the human brain, sense and perception, sleep and awakening neuroscience, philosophy of mind, memory and learning, thinking and language, decision making and executive function, cognitive modeling, awareness and attention, social recognition, neurological diseases, cognitive rehabilitation, brain mapping, research in neuroscience and teamwork with a neuroscience approach.

In addition, students will be evaluated before and after the school to assess the level of effectiveness of the school on theory and practical abilities of the participants. The third round of this school will be held with the cooperation of exceptional talents development center of Iran University, brain mapping laboratory and brain and cognition clinic with the help of prominent cognitive neuroscience professors along with team and practical activities and programs related to society and culture. It should be noted that a dormitory will be prepared for students of other cities who register in the school.

Week of government is held August 24^th-31^st, 2017 with the slogan of “hope and prudence for production and occupation”.
