Executive secretary of the third Iranian conference on systems biology announced the holding of the event during February 27^th-28^th, 2018 for full support of the biotechnology development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Abbas Shojah Sadati, executive secretary of the third Iranian conference on systems biology, stated about the event: this event will be held February 27^th-28^th, 2018 for full support of biotechnology development headquarter and in a different way to provide the necessary condition for entrance of experts and researchers of Iran to this area with the guidance of Tarbiat Modares University.

He added: while the development of molecular biotechnology has had significant improvements over the last decades in terms of training skilled human resource, science production, manufacturing of products and commercialization, there are still some problems in institutionalization and development of the new biotechnology revolution after the ending of human genome project in 2000 and initiation of another project with the title of systems biology.

According to Shoja Sadati, the third conference will be an important event in the biotechnology area of the country. He also expressed: the authorities of the conference have aimed to present achievements in the presence of active researchers of the field during two days of lecture by key international and national lecturers in various fields of medicine, industry, agriculture and biotechnology.

Secretary of the third Iranian conference of systems biology pointed out the programs of the event, asserting: educational workshops and oral presentation of articles and posters are among the side programs of the event.

He continued: we hope that after the conference, we would witness the flourishing of this field and dialogue among researchers by attracting the attention of authorities.
