According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahdi Safarinia, secretary of technology transfer and exchange network of D-8 and head of Pardis technology park, stated about the second round of prize of the best D-8 technology transfer contract: the second round of this prize will be provided at the meeting of authorities of Islamic countries that are members of D-8 organization in 2016 with the cooperation of member countries of organization of Islamic cooperation. In terms of contracts of candidates for the prize, Safarinia expressed: call for this prize was sent to the representatives of the network in D-8 member countries, related organizations, and technology parks and companies from the secretariat of the network. To date, some of the candidate contracts have been evaluated by referees, and others can register for the prize until December 27th 2015. Secretary of D-8 TTEN explained about the awarding ceremony: according to the negotiations with the secretariat of D-8 organization, prize of the second round will be given on the meeting of D-8 authorities, which will be held October 17th-21st, 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey, in the presence of presidents and minister of foreign affairs of eight countries. Regarding the first round of the prize, the head of Pardis technology park affirmed asserted: the first round was for contracts of 2015, which were transferred to technology transferring contract after the evaluation of contracts from eight countries. This prize was given to the contract of technology transfer from AryoGen Co. in Iran to Inno Bio Ventures of Malaysia last year in the meeting of commerce chamber of D-8 countries in Izmir. Technological companies in member companies of D-8 and Islamic countries can refer to the website of technology transfer and exchange network of D-8 (www.d8tten.org) to register for the second round of the event. Technology transfer contracts, which have been concluded between technological companies of member countries of D-8 and other Islamic countries in 2016 and the subject of their contracts is exchange of technology and transfer of technical knowledge for production of technological products, are eligible to participate in the event.
