According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second innovation and technology market in oil, gas and petrochemical industries will be held to develop the market and perform needs assessment of domestic projects, creating networks and interactions with petrochemical companies and power plants, and exchange technology between domestic and international manufacturing companies.

Some of the goals of this event include introduction of new companies and technologies to the industries and units based in South Pars, exchange and collaboration in creating new opportunities for domestic producers and industrialists, discovering new areas for activities of innovative and technological companies and creating a vivid image of regional opportunities for companies participating the event.

The technology and innovation market in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries is the market of the largest area of economy and energy of Iran with the cooperation of special economic region of South Energy, providing a suitable situation in Iran for presenting the abilities of activists of this field to power plants and petrochemical companies.

First Round

The first round of innovation and technology market of oil, gas and petrochemical industries was held in South Pars region February 20^th-22^nd, 2017. Hosting more than 50 companies in the area of oil, gas and petrochemical industries, this event is regarded as the first event of the region.

Achievements of the First Round

On the first round of the event, it was aimed to create a suitable environment for interactions between domestic manufacturing companies and large industries of the region of South Pars to provide the opportunity for improvement of the market for domestic producers and their growth to provide services with higher qualities to oil, gas and petrochemical industries to support domestically produced products.

Presence of gas and petrochemical companies and complexes, which results in the activities of specialized domestic companies, creates the foundation for promotion of culture of self-sufficiency in South Pars region.

The second round of the innovation and technology market in oil, gas and petrochemical industries will be held February 24^th-26^th, 2017 in South Pars with the support of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter, Pars special economic energy zone, Atisaz Technology Co., and Khalij Fars science and technology park.
