A project with the title of “evaluation of the role of biotechnology development headquarter in the national innovation system” is being implemented.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a project with the title of “evaluation of the role of biotechnology development headquarter in the national innovation system” is being evaluated at the mentioned headquarter. In this project, the current condition of biotechnology is assessed by drawing an institutional map.

This project gives four role of “policy-making”, “adjusting”, “facilitating” and “service presenting” to biotechnology institutions and stakeholders, evaluating the duties and activities of each in the mentioned roles.

Some of the goals of this project include “explaining communication at the level of Irans biotechnology innovation system”, “elimination of parallel working at the level of Irans biotechnology innovation system” and “removal of gaps and structural and functional disadvantages in Irans biotechnology innovation system”.
