According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, mentioned the importance of strategic aerial industry, introducing it as one of the most common causes of attention to and prioritization of commercialization of technologies in this area on the first international civil aviation, stating: aerial industry is one of the serious priorities of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. In addition to following up of this area in the past four years, we will specially emphasize on the commercialization of technological abilities in this field over the next four years.
According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, outsourcing of government and military abilities in aerial industries to the private sector to be commercialized is crucial. He continued: there are significant capacities and abilities in the government regarding air industry. Now is the time to outsource the abilities of this area to the private sector and the aerial field of the country to knowledge-based and technological companies.
Key Role of Knowledge-based and Technological Companies
Head of national elites foundation pointed out the key and significant role of knowledge-based companies in commercialization of technologies in aerial industry, asserting: conditions for development of technology have completely changed in the world, and technological prosperity is developed by startups created by creative, innovative and motivated youth.

Necessity of Presence of the Private Sector in Aerial Industry

It is normal that companies are not familiarized with this mechanism since most of the equipment in this area are not produced inside the country. Entrance of knowledge-based and technological companies to this industry must be associated with employment of mechanisms to obtain international standards to enter global markets.
Some of the abilities of knowledge-based companies and industrialists in the aerial industry introduced by Sattari are aerial public transportation, commercial and electronic UAVs and airplane equipment. In addition, Sattari pointed out the support of the private sector by the government of hope and prudence to make changes in this area for the better.
Familiarization of the Youth with Patterns of Innovation and Courage
On the eve of “sacred defense week”, Sattari appreciated the courage and special abilities of air Force pilots and personnel and air defense heroes, adding that most of the honors in this field was achieved during Iran-Iraq war by heroes of aerial field, who were among the innovative and creative youth of the country despite sanctions, shortages, challenges and problems of that time. They made great endeavors to perform their duties in the best way possible. However, they were not supported the way they should have been, but I hope that the new generation be familiarized with a valuable pattern along with holding such exhibitions.
Visit of Abilities of the Country in Aerial Industry
During his visit of the abilities of domestic and international companies of this field, the vice president for science and technology affairs was accompanied by Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, general Majid Bakaei, advisor to the ministry of defense, Amir Abdolkarim Bani Tarafi, CEO of aircraft industry organization of armed forces, Parviz Karami, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs, general Shahram Rostami, head of international civil exhibition, and a number of activists of this field.
