According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari stated on the closing ceremony of the fifth innovation and technology exhibition and festival of Rabe Rashidi: an appropriate trend has been initiated in the East Azerbaijan since three years ago, and we have taken knowledge-based economy into consideration from the beginning of the government of prudence and hope.

He pointed out: in such a new economy, we need some elements, which were not regarded in oil-based economy. For many years, entrepreneurial matters have been suppressed due to oil-based economy.

He also mentioned: in the oil-based system, the meaning of occupation is you have to have enough money to establish a job. On the other hand, in the new system, there must be a creative and innovative human resource with high self-confidence. Establishment of these issues in oil-based economy is significantly hard. However, we see that such trend has been initiated in the country.

The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: we have startups that go beyond the border of one billion dollars and most of them grow by 10% every week. This means that nothing is more economic than investment in the capable youth.

According to Sattari, research is in brains and earning through it is significantly important. In addition, employment of a new method in economy definitely requires many elements.

Sattari also asserted: large economies of the world are not formed based on underground incomes. Today, they do not rely on oil or bank anymore.

President of Iran national science foundation added: a series of oil, bank and automotive creating companies were the largest companies of the modern world in 2006. However, Google, Facebook and Microsoft are among the largest companies of the world. How have these companies been formed?

He emphasized that soon, our startups will go beyond four and five billion dollars. In this regard, he continued: very soon, the same youth that participate in exhibitions will establish the largest companies of the country.

Sattari marked: the basis of this new method, which forms the economic basis of the country, is educated and creative youth with high self-confidence. A source that will stand even after several failures. The youth that uses the learnings and will not stop until reaching success.

President of the national science foundation of Iran also expressed: in this province, the governor was also one of the supporters, and we come to the realization that the economy of the East Azerbaijan province is in the minds of its children and not in mines and other natural resources. This power and creativity of the youth can be turned into wealth and economy. We hope that such ecosystem can be appropriately developed in the province.

The fifth international innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi or RINOTEX 2017, which was initiated four days ago in Tabriz with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, was ended after holding its closing ceremony.

This event was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs and president of national science foundation, and a group of high-ranking authorities of the province and country to appreciate the selected ideas and projects.

The fifth international innovation and technology exhibition and festival of Rabe Rashidi was held in the presence of domestic and foreign knowledge-based companies, centers and institutes. In this exhibition, innovation owners, inventors and those with new ideas created interactions with industrialists and investors by introducing their projects and products.

In this exhibition, 21 specialized zones and 28 side events were predicted. In addition, 1750 projects based on science and technology were presented in the exhibition to create an influential relationship between science, education and research centers from one hand and industrial and commercial centers from other hand.
