The first meeting of the joint committee of domestication and accumulation of needs of gas turbine of the country was held in the national space administration of Iran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first meeting of the joint committee of domestication and accumulation of needs of gas turbine of the country was held with the goal of integration and provision of proper policies in the area of gas turbines class 35-40 megawatts.

The first meeting of this committee was held in the presence of representatives from ministries of oil and energy, MAPNa Co., Oil Compress Turbo Co. (OTC), and Amir Kabir University of Industry and with the presidency of Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration.

It is aimed to cover topics such as “selection of proper technology” and “details of transfer of technology in order to domesticize modern gas turbines in the country” be evaluated in the committee to find the necessary solutions.

In addition, this committee is responsible for national unity in technical and industrial policy-makings of the country to further develop a united program according to the main needs of the society. In the end, it is aimed to present a financial and cooperation model for realization of transfer of necessary technologies in this field by considering the current and future needs of the country.
