According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fifth innovation and technology festival and exhibition of Rabe Rashidi will be held November 11^th-15^th, 2017 at international exhibition center of Tabriz, Iran by the support of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter, aiming to create interactions for development and commercialization of technology, attraction of investment, familiarization with trusted organizations and those who support technological ideas and manufacturing and selling of knowledge-based poducts and services.

In addition, the innovation and technology exhibition of medicinal plants and traditional medicine will be held by the efforts of the research and education center of agriculture and natural resources of East Azerbaijan Province and by the support of medicinal plants and traditional medicine development headquarter.

Idea owners, innovators and technologists, as well as companies and institutes that manufacture knowledge-based products and services across nation can participate in this round of RINOTEX 2017.

This exhibition and festival, which was previously held under the title of Rabe Rashidi exhibition and festival of advanced new technologies, will now be held in three sections of technological idea, development and commercialization of technology and sale of knowledge-based products and services.

During this exhibition, the section of technological ideas is designed in the form of IDEA Board events of medical engineering, festival of the best reliability scheme, festival of the best R&D in the industry section of the country, festival of the best borderline design, weekend startup for electronic vehicle and internet weekend startup for objects.

The section of technology development and commercialization will have 16 specialized zones, including innovation and technology of renewable energies, oil and gas, communications and microelectronics, information and communication, nano, biology, cognitive sciences, medical engineering, food industries, drugs, cosmetics, and innovation and technology in medicinal plants and traditional medicine.

Other specialized zones include innovation and technology of water and soil, advanced materials and composite, tooling and automotive industry, textile, clothing and leather, stem cells and regenerative and convergent medicine.
