According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahmoud Mehrdad Shokrieh, secretary of advanced manufacturing and materials technologies development headquarter, stated on the first festival of composite business: Iran has a history of 20 years of activities in the area of composite, and there is an active and coherent guild comprised of activists of university, industry, as well as government and private sectors. However, similar to any technology, there are some challenges in the path of development and entering the market. It is a common fact for those who want turn ideas into products to be introduced to the market.

Shokrieh continued: each technology is important in terms of creating higher added value, which has led to the elimination of value of crude retail on an international level. Therefore, technologies are significant from this point of view. In Iran, article publication is carried out successfully; however, academic activists must know that publishing an article is not equal to product manufacturing and there is a significant gap between publishing an article and turning it into product for the market.

Faculty member of science and industry university expressed that creation of ideas requires creativity, stating: the educational system of the country must discuss the issues related to creativity and innovation by the young generation since an idea must go beyond the conventional rules. However, the fact that each individual must work in the area of his expertise has a significant effect on creation of creativity. Moreover, we need to create a national innovation system in the country for this region.

He also pointed out: in continuation of their activities, technologists and researchers must be familiarized with the rules governing the patent registration so that their ideas are protected. After patent registration, an executive plan must be designed and the market and investment areas must be evaluated. In addition, research must be carried out for branding of the products. Eventually, the products must be put in the investment process.

Shokrieh asserted that investors of the country are willing to invest without risks, affirming: risking assets is something that does not exist in our country, and there is a limited number of investors and venture capitals. Meanwhile, they cannot continue their path without financial support. In addition, obtaining the necessary standards is a difficult stage. In this regard, there must be an emphasis on issues such as training of human resources, creation of sale chain, after sales service, continuous research and advertisement.
