According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed on visit of a number of technological units of Parand Industrial Town: development and growth of knowledge-based companies based in these industrial towns have had a considerable upward trend. In this regard, proper plans have been prepared to make the industries knowledge-based, which must be followed up with a faster pace.

According to Sattari, the main goal of developing the ecosystem for knowledge-based companies is supporting the knowledge-based companies and solving the problems of the companies and executing more than 120 supportive outlines of the law, which have led to creation of value-added and occupations for knowledge-based businesses.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, creation of more than 60 thousand billion IRT and more than 300 jobs has been the result of activities of more than three thousand and 700 knowledge-based companies in the economy of the country.

Sattari regarded tax and customs exemptions and locating of businesses at a specific distance from large cities as legal support of knowledge-based enterprises.
Sattari also reminded the necessity of developing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem for flourishing of knowledge-based and startup businesses, adding: along with all infrastructural and financial supports, the proper business environment of companies must be provided so that the businesses and activities could be improved on the basis of this environment.

Visit of Nine Technological Units

On his first part of visit of knowledge-based units, Sattari went to Shamsabad Town to visit Borna Skin Microbiological Company, which produces medical and surgical and orthopedic equipment, Aria MAshin Mah, a knowledge-based company that produces dynamic and static weighing systems for measuring agricultural products and flour mills, Arad Elmo Fan Engineering Company, producer of packaging machines and presenter of solutions to produce sorting machines using visual technologies and cameras.

In addition, Poulad Gene Fanavaran Co., Atra Hararat Sazan Co., and Sepehr Amizeh Razi that produce polymer and are based in Shamsabad town presented their achievements to Sattari during this visit.

Moreover, Sattari visited Fan Nirou Co., producer of water desalination and purifiers, and Tayouran Afzar Co., producer of poultry industry equipment and disease-free eggs during the visit of Parand Industrial Town.

Visiting the process of completion of electronics compatibility lab, which is carried out by informatics research center, was another program of visit of Parand Town by Sattari.
