Chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration expressed: the project of manufacturing a domestic 72-passenger aircraft has had considerable advancements with the help of local experts.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration, stated about the initiation of manufacturing a 72-passenger domestic aircraft: the project was started in the middle of 2017 and 8% of it has been advanced during this time.

He continued: announcing the time of production of this project depends on two important factors, including constant allocation of budgets, which is not carried out properly.

According to Manteghi, the second factor is acquiring international licenses, to which extensive efforts have been dedicated.

He added: in construction of this project, we will use the experts of knowledge-based companies in order to manufacture a completely domestic product.
