The second Iranian Startup Composite (ISC97) will be held to provide the opportunity for interaction between idea makers and investors.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second ISC97 will be held December 2018 by the polymer and petrochemical research center of Iran and with the cooperation of Armina Co. and with the support of the advanced materials and manufacturing technologies development headquarter. Motivation, attracting investors and commercialization of innovative projects with an economic capacity for production of wealth and jobs in the composite area are among the goals followed up by the festival. Holding this specialized festival will lead to the presence of scientific experts and investors and industrialists in the area of composite materials.

In addition, metal composite, polymer, ceramic, nanocomposites and composite materials recycling are the five areas announced for accepting projects. In this event, the suitable projects will be evaluated and selected for presentation. In the end, the project is presented to investors in an accurate and justified environment.

The main goals of holding this event is providing the opportunity for interaction between idea makers and investors by holding face-to-face meetings, motivating idea makers and helping the emergence of new ideas in the area of composite materials, realizing the goals of economy of resistance by laying the groundwork for passing from science production to wealth production and entrepreneurship, improving and increasing competitiveness, group work and criticism among the young generation, introducing innovations and technologies obtained in the area of composite materials, familiarization with principles of business and preparedness of capable human resources for independent entering into the business area, using the capital and experiences of investors and production facilities of active agencies in the country, and creating a communication space for industrial centers and idea makers of research centers with the goal of increasing the domestic ability in supplying the technological needs of the industry.
