According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this project will be held to introduce cognitive sciences and technologies through holding lectures by elite students in fields of medicine, technical engineering, and psychology and installing wall newspapers covering new cognitive sciences topics at two stages and in more than 150 schools.

The project of brain and cognition ambassadors is regarded as an effective step toward general introduction and education of the future generation. The first stage of the event will be held in the middle of November for one month. The next stage of the project will be held simultaneously with the brain awareness week.

Students sent to schools as brain and cognition ambassadors will pass specialized courses on fundamentals of cognitive sciences, brain anatomy, neurological diseases, eloquence, and research method in neurocognitive sciences. Cognitive sciences is a new, dynamic and interdisciplinary discipline and can help increase human life quality.

The project of brain and cognition ambassadors will be held with the cooperation of the neuroscience association and general education office of Tehran in 22 districts of this city and some schools of other provinces of the country.

In the mental health week and cognitive awareness week in 2016 and 2017, engineering and medical students were sent to some schools of Tehran province and other provinces after holding educational sessions to teach the educational contents to students.

According to this report, the project of brain and cognition ambassadors has been welcomed by schools, students and managers in these scientific and educational spaces. In each round of the event, 14 thousand students are familiarized with the area of cognitive sciences and brain performance and structures and receive the necessary educations annually.
