According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, for the first time and simultaneously with festival of web and mobile of Iran, Iranian startups will compete in a unique event called “campaign”.

The first round of the campaign, large competition of Iranian startups, will be held this year in two Seed and Early stages.

This event has been initiated as a new part of the web and mobile festival of Iran. By the support of effective individuals and organizations in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Iran, this event will help detect and help talented entrepreneurs in Iranian startups.

The mechanism of this event is in a way that startups can participate in one of the two stages based on their condition, and compete with similar startups in their own specific industrial area.

The final winners of various fields will move on to the semi-finals. After that, the top three startups will compete on the final day and the final winner of the campaign will be determined.

The final winners of the early and seed stages will receive one thousand million and five hundred million IRR, respectively.

In addition to the final two winners, other selected startups will also receive various awards and cash and non-cash supports. Furthermore, all of the selected startups will have great opportunities to be familiarized with other activists of their own field and attract investors.

The criteria to participate in the seed stage include having a minimum viable product and maximum attraction of investment (five thousand million IRR). In addition, applicants of the early stage must not have attracted more than 50 billion IRR and they have to be active for more than five years.

Registration for the event initiated on October 23th 2017 simultaneously with the initiation of web and mobile festival of Iran, and will continue for two months. The finale of the campaign will be held on the final day of web festival in the main hall and in the presence of prominent judges and audiences.
