Parviz Karami, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs expressed his condolences for the passing of Reza Moghadasi, a media activist and former CEO of Mehr News Agency.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter published a message to express his condolences for the passing of Reza Moghadasi, the former CEO of Mehr News Agency.

In this message, Karami expressed:

“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return”

“Reza Moghadasi” provided knowledge, kindness and wisdom by his sufferings. His death was a concerned person was so soon and all of us are buried in sorrow and sadness.

While he was experienced and diligent, his young face and level of wisdom freshened his surroundings and caused changes that could cause excellency.

Advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs expressed his condolences for the passing of this important person in another part of his message, affirming: “I hope that he rests in peace and his family has the strength to deal with his death. I sincerely express my condolences to the family of this great individual and the society of media and culture of the country.”

Moghadasi was a media activist and the former CEO of Mehr News Agency. After a long-term fight against gastric disease, he passed at the age of 50 on the morning of February 2^nd 2018.

He was born in Mashhad in 1968 and initiated his activities in the media from school, writing in student journals and then being active as a journalist.

Some of the work experiences of Moghadasi include the presence in various sections of editorial office of IRIB, secretary of society and political services of Jam-e Jam Newspaper, deputy of Hamshahri Newspaper, managing director of Khabar Newspaper, CEO of Mehr News Agency and managing director of Tehran Times Newspaper.
