The Eurasian Market Opened up to Scholars

The capacity and capability of the top export knowledge bases is linked to the lucrative Eurasian market by the efforts of the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center.

The 380-line tariff code is an opportunity for the Eurasian market for knowledge-based, creative and technology companies to offer their products and services to the five member countries. Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan are in the market and have agreed to Iran's temporary three-year membership since November last year. India and Turkey are also waiting in line to enter the market.

Using this opportunity, the Vice-Presidency has aimed to realize the goal of developing the export of knowledge-based products and introducing knowledge-based companies’ scientific capacities to the large market. An opportunity that has become more attractive with the introduction of preferential customs tariffs.

Since the beginning of this year, the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center has initiated a project to assess the export status of knowledge-based companies and eliminate their export problems. In this project, more than 140 capable knowledge-based companies were identified to access the Eurasian market.

Due to the wide range of topics, 20 companies with a much higher capacity to enter this market were selected and introduced to the broker. The results of this project will soon be presented to other companies in the form of online webinars.
