At the IMAT 2019 International Conference on Materials and Metallurgy, eight selected articles from the perspective of technology and innovation were appreciated as an important event in the field of metallurgy.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the IMAT 2019 was successfully held. With regard to the relationship between the area of missions of the photonics, laser, advanced materials and construction technologies development headquarter, it is aimed to guide research activities toward meeting the needs of industrial units, focusing on value chain and supplying materials industry chain, and increasing innovation level in production of new processes and products, eight articles were selected to be appreciated in terms of technology.

The articles were selected from the papers sent to IMAT 2019 and were appreciated by receiving financial support and a statute of appreciation on the closing ceremony of the event. In addition, the holders can use the next support programs in case of meeting the complementary criteria.

IMAT 2019 is one of the most important gatherings of experts in the field of metallurgy to present scientific achievements, new technologies and international products in the Middle East region. The conference focused on 11 topics of physical metallurgy, extractive metallurgy, mechanical metallurgy, powder metallurgy, surface and corrosion engineering, casting and freezing, welding and bonding, simulation and modeling, ceramic materials, advanced materials and energy, environment, and strategic management.
