The 41st issue of “SarAmad” is published

The monthly journal of “SarAmad” published its 41st issue (special December 2017), in which the role and effect of companies and startups in reviving the rural economy is evaluated.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, what is the role of rural areas in the paradigm of entrepreneurship ecosystem and knowledge-based economy? In the first glance, we might consider a valuable position for villages in the area of innovation. Rural areas are linked to tradition but it seems that the knowledge-based economy and innovation culture have considered a significant role for villages. In the 41st issue of “SarAmad” monthly journal, the role and effect of companies and startups in prevention of vacating villages are assessed and a detailed report is presented in this regard.

A New Phenomena

A few months ago, the second round of the Mustafa Prize recognized two top individuals and provide them with two 500 thousand dollars prizes. This prize is in fact the high sign of science and technology in the Islamic world and belongs to Muslim scientists and activists or citizens of Islamic countries. As its title shows, this event is important and provides solutions. Parviz Karami, editor-in-chief of “SarAmad” journal explained about the importance of scientific flourishing in Islamic societies:

“Mohammad the Prophet” had taught his followers that “there is a solution for everything and the solution for heaven is knowledge”. Thousands of books, studies, achievements, inventions and findings were the achievements of this period, and those Muslims who entered the path of knowledge shed light on the living environment of people. However, the main damage in this area is the fact that we have forgotten about our belongings and reminding them will have no positive outcomes. I said all of this to say that we need to be more careful. There has been some new phenomenon in this field.”

Attraction of Elites

It has been a while that the subject of wrong and exaggerated statistics on “brain drain” and “immigration of elites” has been the matter of debates more than before. Bizarre and incorrect statistics on joining of Iranian students and specialists with advanced countries has created fear in those who are concerned with this field. But are these statistics really true?

Evaluation of Needs

In our country, the youth has always been the origin of promising events. From defending the country against the enemy to building the country. In the special issue of “SarAmad”, there is an interview with Maryam Sattari, the young CEO of a knowledge-based company, to use her valuable experiences in this field.

Better than Foreigners

Believing in being superior is the key to make progress as an innovator and technologist. Amir Houman Vosigh, CEO of an active knowledge-based country, has presented a product in the oil and gas area, for which he said with confidence: “our product is superior, compared to its international counterparts”.

No Shortcuts

As expressed above, rural areas have an important role in development of the country. Sirous Malmir, CEO of an active knowledge-based company, has had significant activities in this field. According to his opinion: “there is no shortcuts to achieve rural enhancement.”

Rural Development

Faezeh Derakhshani, manager of a startup in Iran, also had an interview with this issue of “SarAmad” on the area of rural development and village-centric economy.

Saturation of Cities

When the importance of villages in the cycle of entrepreneurship is ignored, saturation of cities by those who seek work is irritating. Farzad Khan Yaghma, manager of an active startup in Iran, seriously pointed out this issue and had an interview with “SarAmad”.

Other reports, notes and various interviews are also provided in the journal, for which a barcode reader is used to access the related videos, images, voices and notes.

The 41st monthly educational, scientific, news and analytical journal of “SarAmad” was published in 132 pages. It is noteworthy that this journal is provided by responsibility of Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, management of Sorena Sattari and editorial of Parviz Karami.
