According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the nano technology development headquarter holds relevant festivals and exhibition, showcasing the achievements of this area to the authorities, specialists and the public in line with the realization of the goals of “the second 10-year document for nano technology advancement”.

This year, the 10^th nano technology festival will be held in the presence of 150 active units in nano technology area October 6^th-9^th, 2017 at 9:00-17:00 in Khalij Fars Hall of the international exhibition center of Tehran.

In this festival, active units will participate in three forms, including promotional units (e.g., student clubs, specialized bookshops, academic associations and educational companies), and science centers (e.g., laboratory, university and research center, technology park and growth center).

Industrial companies are in 12 pavilions of producers of equipment, automotive, water and environment, health, building, agriculture and packaging, nano material, textile, oil and related industries, commerce, counseling-service companies and brokers of technology services and international section.

Along with the exhibition, specialized workshops and ceremonies to appreciate the top products with nano technology confirmation will also be held.

The Islamic republic of Iran has gained a reputable status in the field of nano technology in the world due to the great efforts of experts and scientists of this field. In 2016, Iran was ranked sixth in the world in terms of nano science production, presenting the activities of 15 knowledge-based and industrial companies and production of more than 360 nano technology products, presenting a model for internal and external progress.

In this regard, the 10^th nano technology festival and exhibition will be held October 6^th-9^th, 2017 in Khalij Fars Hall of the international exhibition center of Tehran with the support of nano technology development headquarter.
