Providing facilities, interest-free loans and rewards for brokers and developing regulations for their activities are among the support packages considered to help the activities of brokers in the national techmart of Iran.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Milad Sadrkhanloo, the head of the national techmart of Iran, stated: the national techmart has defined a plan entitled technology trade leap plan in line with the slogan of the production leap. Started with the support of Dr. Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, the project aims to provide facilities for technology trade brokers.
The head of the national techmart continued: given that brokers are one of the most important and influential factors in the country"s knowledge-based ecosystem, these facilities can help them to perform their duties. The details of the procedure for granting and using these facilities at the national conference were fully explained to the brokers of the techmart. In this regard, the facilities include interest-free loans and technology exchange prizes.
Pointing out the start of the project, he mentioned: as confirmed by Dr. Sattari in the 13th meeting of the national techmart of Iran focusing on the reduced risk of brokers’ activities, the national techmart has aimed to decrease the risk of brokers’ activities and improve their activities in the techmart.
He considered unveiling the regulations for brokerage activities another measure taken in this field, adding: the regulations are defined to focus on brokers’ activities and define them in a known framework. The regulations help assess brokers and conduct the identity-making process.
Sadrkhanloo marked: we hope that the evaluation of these activities leads to achieving the goals set by the Supreme Leader and improving the activities of new companies to provide technological products in line with production leap and increase of the efficiency of the knowledge-based ecosystem in the country.
In this project, the support models are considered for four activities of investment, elimination of technological needs, assessment and holding innovative festivals and events. These four items cover most of the activities intended for technology brokers.
Some of the interesting parts of the plan include awarding brokers based on assessing the activities of brokers in six areas.
