In the past year, international diplomacy of science and technology was one of the main priorities for the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, and to penetrate Made in Iran products, services and technologies to other countries, it provided a platform for international interactions.

Officials from neighboring countries came to Iran to get acquainted with the achievements of Iranian scholars and creators, to pave a new path in scientific and technological cooperation with Iran.

Development of scientific, research, academic interactions is one of the main lines of cooperation between countries. For several years, with the development of Iran's innovation and technology biome, in addition to meeting domestic technological needs, the capacity has been provided to enter global markets by exporting Iranian technology, products, manufacturing and providing services to other countries.

The countries of the region and Asia, especially the friendly and neighboring countries, are eager to know and benefit more from this technology capacity of Iran and have sought to transfer this experience, meet their strategic needs with Made in Iran products.

This interaction has multifaceted benefits and has various dimensions. Among other things, technological needs are possible at a much lower cost than buying technology and products from American and European countries, while the possibility of benefiting from support services, upgrading technical knowledge and developing interactions between companies and technology activists on both sides are facilitated and more widely available.

In these meetings, memorandums of understanding were signed, while the two sides, by creating the conditions for the formation of joint technology committees, made preparations for defining and supporting research projects, technologically based on the interaction of knowledge-based and creative companies.

Syrian Minister of Education

In November 2021, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Syrian Arab Republic traveled to our country and accompanied by the Vice President of Science and Technology visited the selected Made in Iran laboratory equipment. In this meeting, the ground was prepared for the transfer of Made in Iran educational and laboratory technologies to Syria.

Syrian Minister of Higher Education Bassam Ibrahim, referring to the cooperation between the two countries in the field of knowledge, technology and innovation, said: "The most important purpose of the visit to Iran was to visit the most important scientific, research and technological centers." We became familiar with the use of these achievements in industry.

Iran is taking its ability to build laboratory equipment to Syria

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, also said in the meeting that Iran is ready to provide Iranian laboratory equipment, its manufacturing to neighboring countries and transfer of experience and technical knowledge in this field. Ecosystems interact and collaborate with each other; In Iran, we have a technological ecosystem in which different sectors are active continuously and, in a chain, and various measures are taken to develop the ecosystem.

Sattari spoke about the different parts of the chain and continued: "Various parts from science and technology parks, innovation factories to venture capital funds and research and technology funds are the platforms for supporting software and hardware of innovative ideas." All of these sections work together to create an environment that transforms a student's idea into a team and ultimately into a knowledge-based or creative company.
