According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited the aerial achievements of space research center of Iran and mentioned the increasing growth of this field in the country over the past few years. He added: this indicates that a new attitude has been formed in this area, through which various services have been provided for different sections of the country.
Sattari continued: in addition, the space research center of Iran has played a significant role in this regard. Other satellite research centers of the country have provided suitable ancillary services in this area as well.
Head of Iran national science foundation also expressed: commercialization of aerial products in one of the priorities of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in aerospace field. In this regard, development of knowledge-based companies, especially in the area of providing services to fields, including industry and agriculture, is followed up by the Vice-Presidency.
In another part of his speech, Sattari pointed out: in the first seven month of this year, we reached the fourth rank in terms of scientific article production in nano area, which is an honor for the scientific section of Iran. In addition, sale volume of these companies has had a good improvement, in a way that sale volume reached eight thousand billion IRR in the past year, which is indicative of the fact that the commercialization of technologies in this area caused positive results.
He added: definitely, the experiences of nanotechnology development headquarter can be used in other areas and headquarters, mainly due to the fact that this headquarter has a solid structure and experience and its management has had a desirable stability.
Presenting Aerial Industry’s Achievements
Simultaneously with the global week of space, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the exhibition of aerial achievements of space research center.
Some of the projects visited by Sattari included satellite momentary positioning system, non-explosive spool-type pin-puller, solar panel applied in space systems and project of SAHA satellite.
Moreover, sections of integration and teaching of space systems, including acoustic laboratory, vibration and shock laboratory and lab mass properties were visited.
During his visit, Sattari was accompanied by Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi, head of research committee of the parliament, and Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration.
